About the place

YUSO opened at the end of 2025 at number 2 on Piața Unirii, next to the Old Town Hall, and describes itself as Asian street food 'on shuffle'. The menu is short: fried chicken marinated for 24 hours, tempura enoki mushrooms, fried pig's ears, Japanese sandwiches with chicken or oyster mushrooms, a Tori Paitan ramen with creamy chicken broth and house-made noodles, and a few rice bowls. For dessert, next to the Japanese cheesecake, there is the Sorina cake, which, as the menu itself admits, has nothing to do with Asia.

On Google it has 4.5 from 564 reviews. The dishes mentioned most are the chicken sandwich, the enoki mushrooms, the Sorina cake and the pig's ears, and several guests praise how consistent the food is from one visit to the next. The place is small and gets crowded: it takes no reservations, so in the evening there is often a queue, and some find it noisy.
