It holds 4.9 on Google from about 1,000 reviews, and the mill and the whirlpool still work.
About the place
The mill stands on the Morii stream in the village of Bologa, 1 km from the castle and 15 km from Huedin. The Sâncraiu commune website puts it at about 160 years old and says textiles are still washed in the vâltoare, the whirlpool next to the mill; a sign on the main road leads straight here.
The owners have opened a small museum next to the mill, with milling tools, traditional textiles, earthenware bowls and towels. Google reviewers mention that the owner shows them the mill working and explains the tools. It holds 4.9 on Google from about 1,000 reviews, and the museum has its own listing rated 5.0.
