About the place

The Slow Food Turda association, led by Marta Pozsonyi, started Romania's first school garden and food-education camps for young people. Its food centre on Strada Gheorghe Lazăr opened in 2021 with support from Hungary's Ministry of Agriculture and also hosts cooking workshops.

The food is home-style and changes often: soups, stews, meatballs, polenta with sausages and sour cream, and desserts made on site. There are always vegetarian options. In summer you eat in the courtyard garden.
